Fine, I'll start again.

It's been, what, five years since this thing has been updated and I'm STILL not done with college. Nope. Oh well. Now that I'm actually DOING stuff, I might as well post it for the interweb to see, even if it's just me and the dog who reads this.

I'll just throw this up for funzies and for Lauren at American Duchess: I love you and have been an avid follower for years but I gotta be honest: that sleeve pattern on that Outlander gown SUCKS ASS. I'll post about it later, once I figure out the fit on the damn thing. The stays, though. Best bra I own. MUST make a bra pattern based off of it.

*looks at older post* Hey 18 y/o self: you made those muthafukas!!!

*looks at older posts again* So cute, so full of hope. Not half dead inside and completely out of fucks to give. Oh, and Threadbanger came back. Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.

Hello :D

I see you have ventured into my little corner of ze interweb. Congratulations. I am The Subconscious Loli, your host. I am also known as AlbinoMonkeyC and Ivy-Redhead on other website (deviant art, gateworld, etc.)

So who am I?

I am The Subconscious Loli.
I am annoying, obnoxious, blunt, soul-eating ginger. But I'm also the sweetest, most happy, slightly hyper, give-you-a-hug-every-day and up-beat person you will ever meet. I'm really not a mean person. :D I'll be attending college in the fall and am majoring in Fashion Design and Merchandising. I plan to spend my summer sewing Lolita clothing. Harry Potter and Stargate are LIFE!! Don't insult those in front of me or I will eat your soul!!

The Subconscious Loli:

It occurred to me about 2 weeks ago that I've always "channeled" Lolita fashions A.K.A wearing very feminine and "pretty but simple" clothing. There's also the cliche love of the Victorian Era and the love of fashion. Can't help it, sorry!! I've known about Lolita styles for some time but it is only now that I've decided to do it. I would *love* to own some brand dresses, but I simply cannot justify the cost. All of my Lolita clothing will be either off brand (there's a dress on Bodyline that I'm eyein') or homemade.
Here's some of my own stuff:

What to expect from me.

Sewing updates. Bitching. Dreams of clothing. Randomness. I want to get the guts to make a tutorial by the end of the summer.

My dream Loli?

Tudor.

Yep, you read that right. I'm going to attempt Tudor Loli *looks at new sewing patters and laughs evily* Don't ask me why, maybe I've been spending too much time watching PBS and fantasy shows *glares at HP*. I also blame my love of the French Hood **le sigh** Now I just have to figure out how to not make it costume-y...
